Based on the order of the Kerala High Court, immediate action must be taken to remove unauthorized flex boards, hoardings, and decorative arches installed in public places. Those responsible will now face fines and legal proceedings without any further warning. The Joint Director has issued a final directive to all secretaries to enforce this strictly.
Accordingly, special squads will begin operations from Monday, 15 September 2026 to implement this order urgently.
This essentially means that from that date onward, unauthorized flex boards, hoardings, and arches in public spaces will be penalized immediately, and legal action will follow without prior notice.
