Geography
Thalikulam Grama Panchayat covers an area of 10.89 square kilometers and is located in the Thalikulam Block of Chavakkad Taluk in the Thrissur district. Situated along the coast of the Arabian Sea, it is a fully coastal village panchayat located about 22 kilometers west of Thrissur city.

Climate
The region generally experiences a humid tropical climate. It receives heavy rainfall during the Southwest Monsoon (Edavappathy) and the Northeast Monsoon (Thulavarsham). As a coastal area, sea intrusion, coastal erosion, and localized flooding during heavy rains are major environmental challenges.
Transportation
National Highway 66 (formerly NH 17) passes directly through the panchayat, dividing it into two halves and providing excellent road connectivity.
