Pre-Monsoon Cleanliness Drive Inaugurated at Talikulam Grama Panchayat
TALIKULAM: The panchayat-level inauguration of the pre-monsoon cleanliness drive, organized under the leadership of the Talikulam Grama Panchayat, was held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 09:30 AM on the Grama Panchayat Office premises.
The official inauguration of the campaign was performed by the Honorable Panchayat President, Sheeba Ajayakrishnan, by cleaning the panchayat office premises. The function was presided over by the Panchayat Vice President, Mr. K.S. Rahmathullah.
Health Standing Committee Chairperson Smt. Jolly Babu, Panchayat Members Sumitha, Gopika, and Shameer, Village Extension Officer (VEO) Sajitha, and Health Inspector P. Rajan offered their felicitations during the event. Following the addresses, Health Inspector (H.I.) Sini administered the cleanliness pledge to all those who participated in the program.
This marks the launch of an extensive cleanliness and sanitation drive across the panchayat, aimed at preventing the outbreak of infectious diseases and maintaining public spaces ahead of the upcoming monsoon season.
